Crafting
Crafting in Flyff Universe after the 1 October 2026 patch: the four professions, grade chains, success chance, failures, Master's Chip 2, Production Boost and buffs by level.
There are four crafting professions: Cooking, Alchemy, Carpentry and Smithing. Each makes intermediate products (e.g. glass, resin or hardwood) and from them end products such as food, buff items, jewelry and furniture.
How crafting works
- All recipes are visible from the start.
- Ingredients only need to be in your inventory – you no longer place them in the window one by one.
- You can start several attempts at once; each takes the recipe's crafting time.
- Production continues even if you walk away from the station.
- If you cancel, you get your materials back.
Grades build on each other
A B item needs the C item as an ingredient, an A item needs the B item. That is why material trees for A recipes grow quickly – the planner calculates the whole chain down to raw materials.
Success chance and failures
Every recipe has a base success chance; the Scroll of Success from the cash shop adds 10 percentage points. If an attempt fails, you get a failure material instead of the item. Every 10 of them craft one Master's Chip 2; it is also a reward of the mastery ranking:
| Profession | Failure material | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Cooking | 10× Burnt Food | Master's Chip 2 |
| Alchemy | 10× Experimental Residue | Master's Chip 2 |
| Carpentry | 10× Sawdust | Master's Chip 2 |
| Smithing | 10× Stone Dust | Master's Chip 2 |
On the recipe page you can choose “Per attempt” or “Expected value”. The expected value includes failures and shows how much material you really need on average.
Production Boost
The Scroll of Production Boost cuts the crafting time per item by 20 %. Since the patch the buff only lasts 10 minutes.
Buffs and your level
Percentage-based buff and healing items are weaker if their grade is below your level: one grade below only half, two grades below only a quarter. Recommended ranges: C level 61–100, B 101–160, A 161–190. Enter your level at the top and the planner shows the values you actually get. All effects compared: Effects.
