Lifestyle Guide
The Flyff Universe lifestyle system after the 1 October 2026 patch: gathering, fishing, crafting, Livi and Master's Chips – explained briefly and linked to the planner.
Lifestyle has two parts: gathering (herbs, wood, ore and fishing) and crafting in four professions – Cooking, Alchemy, Carpentry and Smithing. Gathered materials become intermediate products, and those become food, buff items, jewelry and furniture.

What changed with the 1 October 2026 patch
- There are only grades C, B and A now. Which grade you gather depends on the region; for fishing, on the bait.
- Grade B materials need 3,000 mastery, grade A needs 10,000.
- Gathered materials and crafted items are no longer soul-linked and can be traded freely.
- All recipes are visible from the start.
- A higher grade needs the lower grade as an ingredient, e.g. an A item needs the B item.
- Some recipes need base ingredients that you buy from Livi for Penya.
- Ingredients only have to be in your inventory. Production continues even if you walk away from the station, and cancelling refunds your materials.
- Failed attempts no longer give Master's Chips: you craft Master's Chip 2 from failure materials. Master's Chip 1 is the old currency.
- Old materials and items are now called [OLD] and can be exchanged for Master's Chip 1 at Livi.
- The Scroll of Production Boost now cuts the time per item by 20 %, but only lasts 10 minutes.
